Can’t help what? Would a non Bama fan remember JPW? How about when Mark Ingram showed out when “Thunder” and “Lightning” were on the other team. What about when Terrance “mountain” Cody blocked TWO fgs against Tennessee.

the one thing ive noticed since fall camp started. every time a mic is in front of tua, he's talking about the team, how to get the team better. when jalen's on the mic, jalen talks about jalen. with tua it's we and us. with jalen, it's me and i. just something i observed. may not mean anything at all.

Good points, as Boz mentioned Tua is a by the book nice guy. He would be perfect as the face of Alabama and Saban will use him as a model for how he wants future QBs to act.

That being said, everything is under a microscope until the ESPN crews leave. Everyone has to put out the unified talk

don’t know why this makes anyone angry. If Tua is that much better it’ll show in the 1st few games. We could start one of our walk-on qbs and would probably start 6-0

The reason why is because this competition hasn't even been close and Tua has won the team. Why play a guy out of sympathy? Should we start Lashley at left tackle and give him serious minutes because everyone feels sorry for him because he lost the starting job to a better player? How about giving Ben Davis the start at OLB. You guys can't be serious.

Tua is raw so he needs all the reps he can get the first few games so he is ready in November. If they give Jalen significant minutes then Saban has gone soft and made a decision off of emotion instead of intellect.

This deal reminds me of AJ & Sims in 2011. Took two games to settle, and the better QB won out.

During Saban's tenure, which starting Bama QB has been the least effective as a passing threat against good defenses?

You. Don’t. Know. That.

We all think that based on some info shared by some we trust on a message board, but no one knows for sure besides those who have been at the practices and who are in the locker room.

People need to stop speaking in absolut s about this situation, relax, and just let it unfold. We will be fine either way.

My only fear with this whole "let both of them play equally to start the season and see who performs better" philosophy is that the first few games won't necessarily show us which QB is best suited to win all the games on our schedule (since none of the teams have good to elite defenses). Jalen is perfectly capable of shredding Louisville/Arky State/Ole Miss with his abilities. If he does that and Tua has a couple quarters where he is just off target throwing the ball, we may well end up in the exact same situation as last year on the back half of our schedule.

All of this. The way our team is built, and the weaknesses of many of the other teams on our schedule, allow us to dominate them without great QB play. Our average (and even below average in plenty of instances) QB play late last year against the more talented teams on our schedule really hurt us against those teams. Our offense gave us no chance to beat Auburn and without the QB change, wouldn’t have given us a chance to beat UGA.

The part about Tua winning the team I have no idea but the other part I can tell you from visual observation is true.

We will be fine either way...? As in we will be fine if Jalen is the starter? Just like we were fine vs Auburn and UGA with Jalen as the starter? Sure. The reason why ppl get so frustrated with this situation is because we all know with Jalen at QB there will come a time vs a good team with a good QB that Bama will struggle to pass, struggle to convert 3rd downs and Bama will lose. This is a trend. Jalen will never win a championship at Bama as the starter. He can't make the throws needed to. There should be no debate. Saban has to see the big picture. He's too damn smart not to. Rolling with Hurts is a wasted season and we all know it. There are elite QBs all over this conference...Bama has one as well...time to use him.

they had a guest speaker who asked Tua “who is your brother in here” he said “Jalen” and he said what would you do for him, he said “ Everything”.

I would figure he would say every teammate is his brother. Weird he decided to say just Jalen when every teammate was in the room. Maybe that’s just me though.

If fine is winning most games and losing to Auburn or in the playoffs, then yeah, we'll be fine either way. If fine is winning it all, Hurts has failed twice, and probably will again.

Could you elaborate bc I’m trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but I checked with 2 people and both said this was absolutely not true.
