Would the fans like his recruiting methods? Dan doesn't get star struck, in fact, he doesn't give a flip about stars. He bases most of his emphasis on how well guys perform in front of his own eyes. If a 2 star outperforms a 4 star at camp, guess what?..the 2 star gets the offer and then fans flip out about it when their recruiting ranking drops. It took our fans a while to understand what was going on here. After 5+ years no one is complaining anymore. There are many things to consider and that's assuming that Dan and Megan would even entertain the idea of going back to Gainesville for the SAME amount of money Dan would get at State.
