I could not possibly agree more with your post. Spot on.

I have a few friends who gave up their tickets this year -- one lives about three hours away, but the other is in Columbia and would rather just sit at home and watch on TV in the A/C. He plans to just do a mini plan or buy single game tickets to a game or two. The Gameday Experience needs to be better in order for people to still put a premium on actually attending the games. Hopefully, we amp that up in a big way, because last year was a little frustrating. Even the heralded DJ sucked and wasn't loud enough to pump the crowd up most of the time.
