LSU's tailgates are great if you are an LSU fan or a nuetral guy but to everybody else they are arseholes of the highest order.
I can't stand that place when you have to walk through that mess on gameday. No other place has more 40 year old power drinkers, immature a holes and vile individuals than that one. If I were an LSU fan I'd love it. To have to say a few years ago I wouldnt take my wife and kids to that place again is not good. I love all other venues in the SEC and look forward to many more years but I'm not going back there. It's awful.

simply not true. Many opposing fans have sang LSU fan's praises for being so welcoming with offering food and booze.
Maybe not as much for Alabama fans, which is fine and actually preferable.

I walked through, got Tigah Baited by most, laughed and gave a thumbs up or a smile and then immediately got offered food and drink and hospitality. This happened probably 5-10 times as we walked to the stadium from the levee. And this was at the "Saban Returns" game of 2008, the height of the hatred. I didn't have a single hostile experience.
I loved it.

I'm an A&M fan and LSU is my favorite place to tailgate outside of College Station. Ignore the outliers that are obviously trying to start shite, return light hearted banter without getting butt hurt, and you will normally leave random tailgates too drunk/full to walk.
In your defense I would imagine bama fans do get significantly more razzing than others.

I have taken fans of several different schools and their experience has always been quite the opposite. They all said how surprised they were at how accommodating everyone was after the rumors they heard before. You, my friend, are full of shite. Being called "tiger bait" is all in good fun, so I'm sorry if that ruined your experience.

I have been to many, many LSU tailgates, both home and away. And one rule about LSU fans is universally true...if you can take being Tiger-Bated with a smile on your face, and act cool about it...then you're in like Flynn. free food and drinks will come your way.
Those insecure, uptight, immature fans who let that get under their collars...no so much.

I’m sure them being “assholes” to you has NOTHING to do with your attitude towards them.
I have never once seen any tailgating party at LSU that wasn’t welcoming to fans of other teams unless those fans were already being dicks.
