You got so much jelly dripping off your mind I may go get a biscuit.
But seriously, why do you come to tRant and make such a fool of your self?
At least with Phan everyone knows his brain was damaged in a bad tricycle wreck.
What’s your excuse?

Herman, everyone knows that Rabem, Delinder, Bowl, Phan, (I'm sure I forgot a couple) are the most BAMA obsessed, jealous, aubarn fans ever. Basically typical aubarn fans. So just laugh at them when they show it.

Edit--I did your homework for you. According to the NCAA, Alabama's SOS the past 5 years are as follows: #6, #1, #1, #2, #7. You're welcome.
In fairness to Rabern, a lot of that strength comes from playing in the playoffs. The numbers are artificially pumped up due to playing tough teams after the regular season.
That said, Alabama still beats them, and it comes out to be a tough schedule. bit if his point was that your regular season schedule was soft in 2008, then pulling out SOS numbers from the last 5 years does not refute his point.

I see where that was covered above, so you can ignore this.

quote:Reply to the other thread and post the entire Saban response regarding playoff teams who didn't win their conference championships, you worthless, lying chickenshit.
And your a dumbass Bama fan that thinks because you run around bumping threads that it changes the world's view of Saban being a crybaby. And just because people say things you don't like doesn't make them pathological liars. No matter what the Bama board teaches yall.
PS- apologies to other thread contributors, but this piece of shite has been posting lies, then running like a scared dog when called on them...finally caught up to him!

Actually Bama beat #13 UGA and #14 Ole Miss that year
Going into the selection week, Ole Miss was 8-4 and unranked
quote:Dude this isnt close, at all
What can't be argued is that both the BCS and Playoff committee seem to favor Bama when it's a close call with another team.
These are the resumes at the time the selection would have been made
Oklahoma
ranked wins
#7 texas tech
#11 TCU
#12 Cincy
#13 okie state
#21 mizzou
Loss to #3 UT
Bama
ranked wins
#15 UGA
loss to #2 UF

Shouldn't Auburn have gone over Bama by virtue of actually beating Bama?

They also rarely play good (not preseason overrated) teams and beat them during the season.
If you go back and look, most SOS ranking has rated Bama pretty high most seasons...
In 2015, nearly all had Bama at #1; one had 'em as having the toughest schedule of all-time and another as having the toughest since the mid-80's. We played 8 teams that finished in the top 25 that year, 3 of which were in the top 10 (2 of those were during the play-offs); 5 teams finished with 10+ wins and 13 were bowl teams (9 of which won their bowl game). Note that AU was not the only good team we played that year (they finished unranked with 7 wins but won their bowl game)...
As for rarely playing good (not preseason overrated) teams, that's not accurate either; just because we played a #3 pre-season ranked FSU team this year that tanked, doesn't mean that was the norm. The only other opening game I recall that was similar was our 2008 opener with Clemson; they were pre-season #8 and ended unranked. As for our other opening games against ranked opponents, they all finished ranked to end the season, albeit Michigan was 16 spots below their initial ranking:
2016: USC was pre-season #20, finished #3
2015: Wisconsin was pre-season #20, finished #21
2012: Michigan was pre-season #8, finished #24
2009: Va Tech was pre-season #7, finished #10
In the 11 years Saban's coached Bama, AU has finished unranked 5 of those years and outside the top 20 in 7...I don't think that rates as 'most times being the only good team they play'...
