We were punished for playing in a tough conference, Tanner stumbled through his reasoning. Still though, the team shouldn't leave it up to the committee, last year we were safely in and didn't have to sweat it out.

Should be in as 30th RPI when teams like LSU, Northeastern, etc. make it in with worse RPIs. Committee is contradicting itself on reasoning.

He was stumbling b/c it was horrible reasoning.

Northeastern over them is a joke. They went 3-9 vs top 50 RPI, have an SOS of 70, did not win a series vs the top 2 CAA teams, and had zero series wins over tourney teams.

Your team sucks. That's what happened. But every program deals with that at some point. The administration doesn't help the team much. They could try and liquidate some scholarship money for non-athletic reasons to attract more talent. That's how some schools do it.
