Dives you like in every SEC town

I'm always curious what others find interesting or fun in rival SEC towns. I like finding local dives. I havent been to all the towns, but I've been to several. Curious to know if you crazy fricks have got any faves, past or present.
College Station - Dixie Chicken (i think its called) great dive spot that is a happening place the night before the game. Had a blast in 2015. Somehow only the dickheads from A&M end up here because every A&M fan I met at that bar was delightful and friendly.
Tuscaloosa - used to love Gallette's but its been a while since I've been to t-town so it may not be there still. So much construction on all these campuses now. Been lit up like a Christmas tree on Yellowhammer Slammers in there a few times. Always gotta hit me some Dreamland ribs while I'm there too.
Oxford - Big Bad Breakfast. Little breakfast dive in a fairly non-descript shopping center. Killer southern breakfast served but cute Ole Miss coeds. Whats not to love. Also love Proud Larry's on the square. Always fantastic bluesy live music when I've been.
Starkville - Dave's Darkhorse. Greasy AF food, but perfect after a dozen beers.
Athens - used to be "Allen's"...which was a delightful graffiti-riddled dump with pool tables, longneck beers, and good sliders. Gotta find another place. I would say the Georgia Theater but its super nice now since they renovated after the fire.

Dave's is the correct call for Starkville. Cheap booze, good food, good music, and a chill atmosphere because it is the hippy/stoner capital of Starkville. Probably went the 100+ times and never saw a single fight break out. Just gotta make sure you can tolerate the scent of weed everywhere you go- though to some, that could be considered a perk.

Georgia Bar, but they also closed.
Nowadays it's probably going to be World Famous on Hull St.

Gallettes just finished a major update and expansion. Not sure it’s considered a dive anymore.
Dreamland bbq sucks.

I've always loved Dave's, don't really care to see the place when the lights are on, I'd rather be blissfully ignorant of the things crawling around in there.

Oxford - Big Bad Breakfast
That's not a dive. It's a restaurant, and an established one. Dive is short for dive bar.
Oxford doesn't really have a dive. But outside of Oxford you used to have Frazier's and Kimbrough's (Marshall County) and there was another in Panola County on Hwy. 6. I forgot the name of it. Those were places where you had to worry about getting shot, stabbed or run over, or all three. That was part of the fun.

Chimes at LSU is a spot I usually always try to hit when I’m in BR.

Went to the Mayflower in Athens for breakfast this past year. Good food and really nice folks. The place was packed and we sat at the counter. Was fun watching the guy cook but combine September weather with coffee and the heat of a kitchen I sweated and my butt off.
