Did you hear the lyrics to the fight song that was still being used in the 70's and 80's? Did you not read anything else, but only picked out the fight song?

Believe me, it was legit back then. I went to Mizzou back in that era and there's a whole lot more to this. I only brought this up, because I was asked and now I'm moving on from this. I will say that I have and will be a Mizzou fan, but they have had and have some issues. I'm sure other universities do too, but Mizzou is our concern.

So you sat in the stands and heard people singing about darkies and pickininnies? bullshite. The NAACP would have had a field day with that. That isn't what his qoute says either. It says the original version used in minstrel shows, not the version used at MU sporting events and sung by Johnny Cash.

I was also unaware that Quin Snyder took over the men's basketball team in 1996. It was quite the well-written article.

What a clown show.

If Mizzou is our concern, we should actually be concerned with stuff Mizzou does and not some random people sitting in the stands at Mizzou games 40 years ago.
