Process his non rebounding, always in foul trouble arse Avery. If you're not sure how make an appointment with Coach Saban. He'll show you the ropes.

I’d take more defensive intensity over Hall developing a 15 footer or a sharpshooting grad transfer.

We definitely need a sharpshooter grad transfer to come in. I would absolutely love that
Every year. Everyone says the above. At the end of the day, we need to fix the root cause of our offensive woes. It all boils down to coaching. Same goes for Free Throws.
I also understand that a significant portion is probably mental. However, as a coach, results are on you. Issues have to be resolved. Free throws and shooting have been pretty shitty of late.

(2) Donta' Hall develops a pick and pop 15 footer that is good enough to at least have to be respected by opponents. This will be even bigger with a non-lottery pick PG.
Unless the big is popping to the 3 point line I don't want it and Hall isn't becoming a 3 point shooter.
Its stupid that he didn't have 4 putback dunks a game off of just rolling opposite side of a Sexton drive.

Every year as in the 2 (heading into number 3) true off-seasons Avery has had? We weren't left with any shooters other than Norris, who we weren't even sure of.
Avery encouraged our guys to shoot the ball all year. Our shooters were getting several open looks from behind the arc every game. More than I've witnessed any Alabama team get. That's what the coach is supposed to do. If your shooters can't hit wide open shots, then I'm not sure how that is a coaching problem.
Avery's first year we had one player we thought could be a good shooter heading into the year (Norris). Last year we had two people we thought could be good shooters heading into the year (Norris and Davis). This year we had 6 people who we thought could be good shooters, but 4 were freshmen and 2 were injured. For most young players, the last thing that typically comes along is shooting. Some of it is mental and some of it is that the much larger venues throw them off. People wondered why I wasn't jumping onto the Petty bandwagon at the beginning of the year, and that's 100% why. The pure shooters aren't typically the guys who come in their first year and set the world on fire. It takes a very rare and special individual to do that. It's exactly why I hated that Avery chased off Devin Mitchell when he got here. It's also why people want another proven shooter at the collegiate level to go along with Mack.
