That’s a good point griffin.
They wouldn’t necessarily have to drive the boat five miles, more like a couple hundred yards just to get to channel.
Seems like they’d want a four stroke to keep quiet, probably a yamaha for reliability. Don’t want boat troubles in the middle of an operation like this.
Question for locals, do the rentals there usually use yamaha or merc? Or zukis?

I think it was a canoe...and they sunk the head to hide the ballistics.

While not a popular choice the quietest 4 stroke OB I’ve ever owned was a Honda. You had to listen closely to hear it run and all you could hear was the valves ticking
