This is a serious question.
Do you ever get tired of winning? Do you ever miss the feeling of being stressed out in a game?
Ps I have way more respect for y’all than your cheating brethren in auburn

You dont think that second half in the NCG was stressful?

One could argue every game is more stressful due to the pressure of winning and high expectations

Nb4 Bowl Jackson posts Titanic "Its been 84 years" gif to remind you that South Carolina hasn't beat Auburn in football since 1933

I haven't not been stressed in a national title game since the second half of the ND game. Every other game Bama has played in has been down to the wire.

I grew up in Gainesville Fla in the 50s-early 60s. Florida stunk...6-4 was a great season. But what is funny is that today I don’t recall the losses, I remember the wins...especially Georgia Tech using the new-fangled 2-point conversion.
When I returned from Vietnam I went to Alabama and grad school during the 1970s. During that time Alabama lost about 10 games in 10 years. Today I don’t recall much about the wins, I remember all those losses and they still pizz me off.
Rooting for a so-so team is less stressful then a continuous run of success.

We don't appreciate it nearly as much as we should, that's for damn sure.
However it's still plenty stressful in close games.
It also creates a weird vibe for the season. If we don't win the national championship everyone is pissed off and disappointed. That's setting yourself up to be miserable.

Not at all. Having sat in bds during the probation years really, really made u more appreciative. I had gotten spoiled in the 70s like everybody but we lost to southern miss, central Florida, northern Illinois, Hawaii, Minnesota and routinely were blown out by SEC schools. Hard to take it for granted.
I never got stressed during the national championship either. I reminded myself at the half we were playing a team from Georgia and they'd find a way to choke it away.

My first game that I remember from start to finish was the 1993 Sugar Bowl. Then came Dubose, franchoine, price, and shula.....it doesn't get even remotely boring

I never get tired of winning. I wake up every Saturday during football season excited about the day's action. Whether it is on TV or I am going to the game, I am like a kid in a candy store.
My degrees are based on a profession that allows me to be off every weekend, and that was intentional. I grew up in the Coach Bryant years, and these years are even better. Alabama's standard is winning games, and winning titles.
However, I think the fear of losing overrides the joy of winning sometimes within the Alabama fan base.
I have sometimes thought about what it would be like to be a fan of other teams that do not win as often as Alabama. To them, they just enjoy the win, and can get over the loss much better.

It never gets old. Sure, the big game butterflies only happen 2-3 times a year, but the stakes are so much higher that it more than compensates. This is a spoiled statement but I’m just as jubilant/happy/thrilled after the last championship as I was the first one over Texas. None of the championships are a certainty. It’s an incredible run and I feel really blessed for it to happen to my team.

IMO, it isn't boring when the stakes are high and Bama is playing a really capable team that can go toe to toe with them.
This past year, the AU, Clem, and UGA games had some excitement leading up to the game and during the game.
However, the rest of the year had to be "relatively" boring for Bama fans. I know those are the only 3 games I watched more than 5 minutes of that Bama played. Outside of those three, I maybe watched 15 total minutes of Bama football this past year. Now I'm an Aubie of course but most weekends Bama football is not something I'm interested in watching, the same way I'm not interested in watching any other noncompetive mismatch that doesn't involve my team.

we werent as good as bama but there was a period for awhile where there were only a couple of games on the schedule that really got the juices flowing. It was maybe slightly boring a few times but Les would always figure out a way to stress us out in a game we had no business worrying about to bring us back to earth.
