My fricking word some of you people are ridiculous.
Group A: 'I don't want politics in my sports!'
Same exact Group A when politics aren't in a sports event: Makes it about fricking politics.

I just learned that gus had the audacity to earn 6,000 dollars in interest during the national anthem.

It's a-fricking-mazing how many people don't understand that the national anthem isn't an ode to the military. That has been the most baffling thing to me in the whole kneeling fiasco.

CNN)The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl for the first time in the franchise's history on Sunday, but several players have already indicated that they will not participate in the traditional White House visit, citing their opposition to President Donald Trump.
Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, who also raised his fist during the National Anthem this past season, told CNN on Monday that he intends to skip the White House visit.
"Nah, I personally do not anticipate attending," Jenkins told CNN's "New Day."
Wide receiver Torrey Smith, who also raised his fist on the field to express solidarity with the "Black Lives Matter" movement, expressed his disapproval of Trump's war against players who take a knee during the national anthem to protest racism.

As a vet I share the same opinion with every other vet I've spoken to about this.. I really couldn't care less what you do during the national anthem, if you want to kneel in protest you have the right to do so, due to the men and women who serve in order to keep your attention whoring and "oppressed" self, free.

Throughout the season, some Eagles players raised their fists during the Anthem but all had stopped doing so by the playoffs.
Most notably, safety Malcolm Jenkins was raising his fist above his head but stopped in December after the NFL announced it would donate to social justice charities. Jenkins was part of a coalition of players that worked with the NFL to bring about the donation.
