I love the new Tax Law. It lowered corporate taxes from 35% to 21%. The law really helps small business owners. But it did hurt charitable giving in many cases. Alumni contributions are no longer wholly tax deductible. Anyone with an average middle-class income wouldn't be able to write off the deduction and would end up paying more to give the same amount.
