The body thetan comment was obviously tongue-in-cheek. 
I try to keep an open mind, so I will ask this simply because I am interested in the answer: assuming you are being serious with this stuff, what is it that convinced you that it is true?

I had a couple of unexplainable paranormal encounters years and years ago that got me down the UFO rabbit hole, and believe it or not, it has led me here. Among other places.
Got interested in magic once I realized all of our government types practice the occult. And after careful consideration of all available information, I have become convinced it's real. Or, well, real enough to work.
The nature of our reality, however, is such that multiple worldviews, while seeming to contradict one another, can all be valid. So I am well aware not everyone, or even a fraction of everyone will agree with me.
And so it goes.
