I'd say the whining and hate flow are the key factors. Anyone can say the refs cheated but it's zeal and anger that get the points.

That’s right, rhino.
A good melt doesn’t bow to facts. Not because melting can’t be factually based, but because melting is the expression of pure emotion so raw and authentic that the poster doesn’t consider or value judgement of their stability

I feel like I've almost seen as many threads by posters of other teams than I have by UGA fans complaining about the refs.
