Gotta say, this one stung but it wasn't as bad as the feeling of having my heart ripped out in the 2012 SECCG. I felt that sucker acutely for weeks.
Yeah that one hurt. I got banned immediately after that game.

I have to say, most of what I would call actual “melting” by UGA fans has been on our team board.

I know I can’t speak for the entire fan base on this, but I feel like it’s a pretty accurate take for a lot of us.

This game hurt...all losses hurt. The difference between this game and the 2012 SECCG for me is this: we went into that game HOPING we might could possibly catch a few breaks and jump up and surprise Bama and steal a win. We fought all game long but in the end, we knew the team had done all they could and Bama was just still THAT MUCH better. It hurt worse though...because I think a lot of us were thinking...when the Hell are we going to get this close again?!?!

Monday night...we went in thinking that it was a pretty evenly matched game, would be a slugfest, and whoever threw the last punch would win. I think we are all hurt, but are not melting to the rants satisfaction because this time we punched the champ in the nose and made him bleed a little, and maybe even wonder if he could hit us hard enough to knock us out...he did, and it hurt...but, Opposite to 2012, instead of wondering when we will be that close again, I think most of us just got up off the mat, acknowledged the loss and said, “alright...back on this same field in December we will do this again”.
