What nobody seems to have noticed and I may be wrong about the rules of football. He was out of bounds when his back leg swung around and hit the Alabama player who was out of bounds already. Am I correct? Everybody was looking at his foot and the out of bounds and not his other leg which clearly touched the outpf bounds a may player

This is what I was thinking during the game but just assumed that’s not how it worked since no one else mentioned it lol

I thought this for a second when it happened but then guys could just step out of bounds and touch a guy instead of tackling him or put a foot on the line in the back of the endzone and touch a receiver going up in bounds and make him out of play. It just wouldn't work

No that's not how it works. Otherwise a small DB could put a foot out of bounds and tag a back like Henry or Fournette instead of getting trucked.
