There was literally nothing to be proven there. It was purely a speculative rhetorical question.

Wrong.

quote:

all you ucf natty pumpers would be perfectly fine with say, bama, uga, tosu, uscw, texas, oklahoma or any top level power 5 team taking a year off from power 5.

There you go.

Seems like we're good to go, yeah? Now you can help our feeble minds comprehend how UCF's schedule is in the same ballpark as Bama.

Not yet, although someone else has already posted a significantly better source of information.

It has a period, but it's obviously a rhetorical question/statement... If a P5 traditional power took a year off and only played G5/FCS teams, would *you* be fine if they went undefeated and took a playoff spot.

What is there to "prove" about that?

If you can't back up your garbage claim, just go ahead and admit it for everyone and we can all move on.

ETA... if you read the entire statement again... it's clearly a somewhat poorly constructed sequence of statements that end in a question...

quote:

all you ucf natty pumpers would be perfectly fine with say, bama, uga, tosu, uscw, texas, oklahoma or any top level power 5 team taking a year off from power 5. they go play the exact same schedule that ucf played this year and go undefeated. every one of you would be clamoring for them to be in the playoffs, right?

So... hypothetical scenario is set up: Blueblood drops down in SOS difficulty > goes undefeated > you would want them in the playoffs because they were undefeated > rhetorical question mark
