My favorite team lost. I ate black eyed peas and sat in my recliner. I missed no tackles, missed no blocks, I just watched.
Most of the things I stated in the original post are axiomatic, “Don’t turn the ball over, special teams, take away best WR, etc”
AU did beat Bama and UGA. We did lose to UCF. It happens. It reflected in turnovers and special teams.
I’m just interested in the next game. Bama UGA. I enjoy seeing what others think. I enjoy guessing result and opining.
It’s cold here and I have not played golf since Sunday.

AU beat Bama for 3 reasons.
1. Stay committed to the run even though bama had 3 of their 4 Lbs back and were the healthier team than AU. AU did just enough in the running game to keep the defense on the field.
2. Stidham played great and was pinpoint accurate all game. You have to hit throws with their DBs all over your WRs and he did.
3. AU DL only rushed 4 and was able to put pressure on Hurts all night. They whipped Bama OL. You don't have to whip them but you have to at least compete with their lines consistently.

You had the recipe the first time around. What did they adjust for the second time that worked so well?
I tried to word this so you wouldn't get bombed with stupid replies, but I think your perspective on this would be a good one.
