No idea where you're getting your numbers from.

I can't help stupid. I had a link from the ncaa.

65 P5 schools with 85 FB scholarships...comes to about 5500.

You are doing estimates. I am doing numbers direct from ncaa on division 1 and 2 football (remember that link i provided from the ncaa?) Our numbers should be different. Mine are fact. Yours are estimates. Mine are ncaa. Yours are p5.

If you step away from your emotional keyboard and use your brain, you wouldn't be so confused.

God,for the freakin 4th time,I'm talking P5 SCHOOLS and ATHLETES ONLY.WTf Is so difficult to comprehend about this? The FB number wasn't an estimate it was NCAA limit
X the number of P5 schools. You could probably add another 100 for medical hardships but those numbers aren't available. Lord, speaking of fixing stupid.

The reason I estimated on the overall is because DIFFERENT SCHOOLS HAVE DIFFERENT NUMBERS BASED ON TITLE
IX. All P5 schools have 85 FB,13 Basketball,11 Baseball
and then you can add more to that based on the sport (Golf,Tennis,Swimming,Hocky Wrestling etc) and in SOME
cases double it according to title IX (male to female ratio at each school).Georgia for example has more than 250 scholarship athletes because they have a higher female to male ratio.Schools
like Wake Forest,GT,Kansas State and Boston College probably have a number below 250 because they have a higher male to female ratio. There is no website I could find that gives exact scholarship nmembers for P5 schools only. You can even move those numbers up to 300
for arguments sake.

Once again, any extra compensation discussed is for P5 athletes only. The money being brought in by P5 CFB TV AND Playoff revenue has doubled and in some cases tripled the last 10 years. For example, each ACC school made almost $6.3 million JUST off the bowl and playoff payout alone (this year)
