The majority of translations refer to it as a "circle". The Hebrew word used is "khoog" which literally translates to circle. Genesis says the Earth is covered by a firmament, aka a dome. Now if there are other places which imply it is spherical.
All of this to say it's what we would expect from an uninspired book written by different men in different areas over the span of a thousand years. Inconsistency.

That the author of Job would even have the insight to know the earth was round is amazing to me, considering the text was written thousands of years ago.
Interesting. How did you arrive at this opinion? I find the Book very inspiring.
