Well thanks. But they are actually working on ways to prove/disprove it.

One neat idea I heard was that they're looking for what should be "rounding errors" in the program. For instance, our known laws of things like the conservation of angular momentum doesn't seem to hold up at the macro level. For like galaxies. The outer portions of galaxies should spin at a slower rate than the center but this isn't the case.

Simulation hypothesis supposes that this is a rounding error.

Very intriguing stuff. Simulation hypothesis also seems to be the best model to help explain things like intuition, remote viewing, and magic.
