quote:
Isaiah 40:22 says: "It is He who sits above the sphere of the Earth."
The Bible is clear on this matter.
That is a rather disingenuous argument since the vast majority of Bible versions use the word circle instead of sphere. The Bible given its many translations is anything but clear on this.

The truth of the matter is that we may very well live on a flat Earth.
It would be a simulation of sorts. A 3 dimensional holographic representation of a 2 dimensional plane.

The Bible doesn't address many areas of science, but it is accurate when it does. For example:
* The universe operates according to rational, natural laws. Job 38:33.
* The earth is suspended in space. Job 26:7.
* The hydrological cycle. Job 36:27,28. Ecclesiastes 1:7. Amos:9:6.
* Geological processes. Psalms 104:6,8.
* Microbiology and infectious disease. Leviticus 11:28, 13:1-5. Deuteonomy 28:13.
Is it disingenuous to say a circle and a sphere are round? Am I being dishonest when I say this?
Given that the Bible was written from 3,500 to 2,000 years ago, long before science could verify any of the above facts, the Bible is amazingly accurate.
