Serious Q., why does Avery Johnson Jr. play so damn much? You have Sexton and Ingram to run the point, he should never touch the floor except in blowouts. His son is awful.
That being said, outside of Hall and Sexton, the rest of the team looks average to bad. The next highest PER outside of those 2 is Ingram at 14.3 which indicates average overall play. Somehow Ingram has clearly gotten worse from last season.

I feel like I've seen Avery Jr get hot once or twice and that's all it has taken for his dad to validate playing him.
