Still pretty early to be calling it, but Avery Johnson has to get better. Bama is underperforming right now.

i think that they will start playing better as soon as AJ realizes that sexton is not michael jordan( he good, though)

We've got the worst Coach in the league. Any other SEC coach with this talent and Bama would be a 5 or 6 seed this year.

Youth is the great equalizer for talent. When you play that many freshman poor defense and reverting to AAU ball when things are tight should be expected. Coach Cal doesn't get near as much credit as he should for being able to coach those things out of his teams but even for him it takes a while. For most it usually doesn't happen until they become sophomores.

ETA: Imo Alabama will be a much better team next year even without Sexton.
