Lots of chatter on the net right now. Currently, if you search "Saban" and "Cowboys" in google you get 452,000 results...more than any other team, even the Dolphins who he coached only generate 260,000 results.

In a recent journalistic article Saban was identified as the #1 candidate for the job should Garrett be fired. LINK and another report also identified him as in contention. LINK

Jerry Jones and Nick Saban are also, reportedly, quite close friends and Jones attends all of Saban's games in Dallas. It would also make sense that Jones would want to hire Saban to pull him away from the SEC West and open the door for his Alma Mater, Arkansas, to make a run. Jones apparently called Saban yesterday. LINK

The stars are aligning.

If I had a penny for every dollar Saban has turned down to leave Bama, I'd be filthy rich.

I aint worried. You clowns say hes leaving every year and he never does so what makes you think it will be this year. Alabama is the top of the mountain of football coach jobs. NCAA or NFL. Coach Saban aint going nowhere. He will coach for about 10 more years at Bama and win champonships in 6 of them. He will end up with a nice round number of 10. It is good to be a Bama fan.

Jones would never hire a midget left wing liberal Hillary supporter.

"Wait pawwwwl, why would saban leave bama to coach the cowboys?" Those poor hillbillies have no clue bc they dont have a pro sports team in that redneck state. They prob think it would be a lateral move, that's how naive and dumb they are. If saban doesn't take the cowboys job if he's offered, it's bc he's scared, nothing else. Lol at alabamastan.

I can confirm this is happening! I live in Dallas and keep in close contact with Jerry. He says it's a done deal just waiting on Lincoln Riley and the Sooners to spank Saban in the National Championship game then Jerry makes the big offer. Jerry told me he wouldn't be outdone by some second rate Texas university. Jerry told me $76 million for 10 years.

I don't believe for a second that it'll happen but you know it still bothers Saban that he failed in the NFL. If he actually does get offered to coach the cowboys I guarantee you he would give it serious consideration. I'd bet against him taking it though. But you never know.

There's a very realistic chance Saban leaves to the Cowboys. He has nothing else to accomplish in cfb, and the Cowboys would be a the perfect ending. That, and his legacy is about to get squandered by a rising A&M team lead by Jimbo, not to mention UGA/UF in the east. It's time to get out of the SEC now, because it will be very difficult to win in the future, especially after this season. It's like when other golfers realized that Tiger was human and therefore beatable. That, and it's a pain in the arse to replace coordintors every year, starting over and over. He also wants to restart his NFL legacy and there isn't a better team to do that with then the Dallas Cowboys, allegedly "America's team." He gone.

Seems unlikely that at his age Saban would start a new job in the NFL but I guess you never know for sure.

He gone for sure this time.

Why else would Jerry Jones attend marquis college games in his own venue.
