When are there ever "great" teams? The champ from last year lost to Pitt and needed luck to beat NC State. The champ from 2015 lost to Ole Miss. The champ from 2014 lost to a bad VT.

There’s a difference in losing games to decent teams who had a good game and losing games to teams with 8 losses. Last year wasn’t great either if that’s the angle you’re going for. Alabama and Clemson were good, the rest of the top 25 was meh. College football has been a very watered down product for a few years. But that’s what happens when coaching turnover is what it’s become.

I know you don’t want to hear it because your team happens to be one of the last four standing this year, but it’s true

What exactly do you mean in "the past few years"?
Was it watered down in 2007 when you lost to UK and Arkansas and won a NC?2010?2011 (of course not becasue that was the last time LSU was relevant, right?) Please name the years which you are referring to.
