That's probably a good fit for him being close to home and all. And this is not taking a shot at him or any of the others, but considering where some of these transfers are landing a lot can be said about the level players they are. Anderson, though serviceable as they say, was probably never going to be what OM thought he'd be when signed. That's just how it goes sometimes. If OM is expected to compete, all things being equal, with Houston caliber players, well, they won't in the SEC West. It's just that simple. Among others this year, Houston lost to Tulane, Temple and most recently to Fresno State in the Hawaii Bowl. I assume they were considerably better, but I'm sure some of you remember OM beating Fresno like 76-6 two short years ago in Oxford. Just food for thought.

Yeah, Anderson was never the answer we needed. He might be a good guy, but on the field he just couldn't put it together for us

Jack was recruited hard by Matt Luke. Did he see any PT this season?

Same song and dance... we’re not really losing key personnel but it’s not good for depth that’s already familiar with our system. I’m not real sure what to think.

In the near term he is a depth hit more than anything else.

Our Oline is weak, so this sucks.

Actually not true, you have Givens, Mathews and Brown coming up along with several other RS freshman. OL was strong enough that it wasn’t a priority for recruiting this year.
