Clemson is the model for being patient with a coach. They allowed Dabo to grow in to the position. I appreciate what they have been able to accomplish there.
Dabo has had some great mentors to help him along early on. Now he has taken it all on his own. Many coaches are shooting stars that peter out after losing a great OC and or Quarterback. I remember people saying that Clemson and Dabo would take a step back after losing Morris/Tahj. They maintained and actuall improved. After losing the should be Heisman winner last year, and stocking the NFL with a few players, everybody thought they would take a step back. He took them to the CFP again.
Kudos to Dabo and Clemson. They are now considered as consistently elite as Alabama.
