Jimbo is a long time personal friend of Louis Cooks. They are very close. Jimbo stays in constant contact. The cooks are close friends of mine.
When Jimbo wanted to leave and come to LSU, it's was for a few reasons...Big one being his divorce from his who're wife who cheated with a player that was doing personal training....it was very ugly and extremely embarrassing.

He wanted OUT! He had some issues with the school and he was determined to just get away and start fresh in the SEC at a super football school like LSU.

So the Wed before thanksgiving, I was hunting with the cooks. Louis gets a text that it's a fone deal, he was all in on coming and LSU was firing Les after the game Friday. There were small details via his agent and Aleva to complete and LSU also had the task of firng Les.
At the last second, Aleva tried to frick him over and offer less if a deal than discussed and Jimbo and his agent were pussed at the shite Aleva was trying to pull. He felt he had Jimbo over a barrel because FSU got wind of Jimbos plans..FSU pressed Jimbo for the truth, he said he was staying (just to calm them down) He told Aleva to write the deal previously agreed upon and he was ours. Aleva shut the bed and slow played it and was scared he couldn't get it done.......and then the shite show of Led leaving, only yo find out Aleva was frantically looking for him yo tell him he was staying..

Since then, Jimbo has wanted out as relationships resolved at FSU with no one trusting each other.

Fast forward, SEC school comes knocking, doesn't frick around with the money, and closes the deal EASILY. That's how ADs and boards work together on something they want.

The man was unhappy for several reasons and just wanted out, especially when His relations with boosters soured. He has a son that is a great hs qb (sr next year) and another special needs son who isn't expected a normal life span. Even with those factors, he still wanted out bad enough. ATM new this and made their offer in a way that he had NO reasons to doubt their wanting him for a long time.
