I’m thinking if Jalen is struggling to complete passes then we put Tua in to see what happens. There’s no sense keeping Jalen in if we are going to be one-dimensional against Clemson.

Yeah eventually Jalen has to take that next step and be able to be a threat through the air. If not, we know Tua can

The problem with the whole "Bring Tua in if we struggle to pass" is that we'll struggle to pass the minute Jalen steps on the field. He's proven over 27 games that he struggles to pass.

He's not going to go out there and implode either. Over the course of the game he will slowly just not do enough to win. Just like against Auburn, there was never a definitive moment to bench Jalen until it was too late. We have to pick a guy and go with him as the starter.

As for a changeup QB, Jalen makes much more sense in this role to me
