I personally think he would do a good job, run a clean program, and bring everyone together. For a few years at least and be a stabilizing force.
Hopefully he has learned his lesson about his outdated offense. Would love for him to wreck shop for you guys.
P.S- I can sympathize with the shite show you've had to go through as an LSU fan, last year sucked with our coaching search.
Good luck!

I like Les, if he can bring Tee home, along with with either Steele or Chief and Austin Thomas, I'm all in

I think Les would be a great option.

I wouldn't hate the hire provided he had a really strong staff.
However, I don't get the stabilizing thing and I have read that a lot. Just hire somebody who will win football games and that will stabilize the program more than anything.
There are still plenty of good coaches who understand this is a really good job where you can win big, and relatively quickly.
I guess what I am saying is hiring Les Miles basically says, "hold on a few years while we figure shite out". Doesn't really seem to be a program building hire to me, but, of course, would prefer him to some garbage like Schiano or Doeren.

Very unlikely at this point IMO
I'm not crazy about the idea of hiring Les if we truly are starting the search over. Get turned down by some guys and end up back at Dorean and Steele levels? We would be lucky to have Les but I don't think we are there yet

I would be fine with Les. We could do a hell of a lot worse. If he is the next coach he has to change up his offense and not be stubborn with it. We saw with Butch how a stubborn coach turns out. If he can bring in Tee or another proven OC, Steele and someone who has a great track record at developing QBs(not Les' strong suit) then I'll be happy

Would rather have Leach. If Miles has opened up on offense then it is a great hire, but I doubt that he has. I also wonder how good of an offensive mind is Tee actually. USC fans are wanting him gone.

He is entertaining, and the SEC is more fun to watch when he is coaching.
