You can't blame anyone involved for going all in on Gus. If he says no we are still in good shape, we have virtually no competition for the coaches we are looking at.

I don't think Gus is coming and I don't think the powers pulling these strings really do either. Heads would explode if Gus left what he's got going at Auburn. Maybe we had to go through these motions, make an offer to satisfy a few boosters. Hell, maybe we're colluding with Gus to soak Auburn to overpay him. I don't know, but it's not realistic or sensible to plan on him coming here.

I do believe our next coach has a game this weekend, but it's not Gus. Which one is the question?
