I mean, we basically are just going the cheap route for the next couple of years... seems smart to me. We are about to get buukkake'd by the NCAA so the admin is just saying "oh well, we'll just at least field a team". Saving money for when sanctions are finished... Spending all of our saved up cash on a big name coach.

He would have taken the job for 2 million though or maybe even cheaper with some great incentives.
