Perimeter defense picking up where it left off last year.

I really didnt have an issue with the defense. Emporium hit a lot of contested 3s down the stretch.

But we have to shoot better, 2-20 from 3 is the worst nunber I've ever seen.

Does this game even count?

Wins a win.

Young team but Bartnett, Robertson, and Puryear need to step up, they've been atrocious the last 2 games.

Orlando is going to be rough with no MPJ

19-34 from the foul line is not going to cut it.

Puryear was ok today. Barnett and Robertson were not. That’s 2 straight games if getting nothing out of those 2.

So, did we win?

Kind of afraid to look.

Yeah. We tried to give it away.

I hope we never let MIAA teams bring their own refs again.

He wasn’t great, but he was far from the problem. His stats 4-9 13 points and 8 rebounds. Still had too many turnovers.

Contrast that with how the guards played. Including Barnett the starting backcourt was 1-18 shooting. CVL or Harris were the best of the guards.

They were missing wide open shots too, they weren't even bad shots for the most part

CVL and Puryear looked bad. They just looked better than all the other players under 6’8” not named Harris.

Sometimes. Some really bad breakdowns. We probably gave up 10 points on straight line drives up the court after a made basket by us.

Our half court defense is pretty good, and we do rebound well. Transition defense leaves something to be desired.

It's going to be real simple for this team though. Our guards have to knock down shots. We can't shoot like we did the last two games or we are going to be bad. It's way too easy to just pack the middle against us when we are shooting horrendously.

We've had two great shooting games, and two awful shooting games.

Your guess is as good as mine

We need to limit our three point shooters to actual shooters. It’s interesting that Jontay could potentially hit a three pointer. He shouldn’t be taking them. The same pretty much goes for Puryear. I’m not even sure what to make of CVL. Does he hit in practice?

Barnett and Robertson were a combined 1-16 and 0-10 from 3.

That can't happen. Those guys need to be consistent players for us. Both played terribly tonight.
