So, you think Fayetteville qualifies Arkansas as "South Eastern", but say the Bootheel of Missouri, which is both several hours further East and equal south as UA is not? Classic. Columbia is even further East than you are.

Now that your geography lesson is complete, we are in the Midwest, and we are proud of that. The SEC braintrust knew that and saw the value to expand their boarders. Eat it.

Barely. If so, by a smidge. 3/4 of Arkansas is not deep south, but close enough to smell it from here.

Bootheel? Boy, you really got me there. Relax. I'm glad it's yours. The same way you're glad E. St. Louis is part of Illinois.

Congrats. So are Champaign, Illinois and Columbus, Ohio.

The UofA represents the state of Arkansas, not Fayetteville, AR. Just like Mizzou represents the state of the Missouri, not Columbia. The state of Arkansas has always been considered Southern. Missouri has always been considered Mid Western. It's that simple.
