Yep, Long was our last 100% sure bet that it wouldn't happen. I still don't think it'll happen for much of the same reasons Long wouldn't touch him, just too much baggage comes along and he'll be employed by a fellow SEC institution.

Not gonna lie, all this "Arkansas connections coming back to the AD" talk has got me on shaky footing in my convictions. I also didn't think they'd fire Long even though there were millions of signs and info being passed down that it was happening, making me less sure of anything I once believed.

If it's any consolation, anyone that told me that Long was in trouble has also said that Gus isn't happening. No idea how today's events changes the outlook on that yet.
