Our last two possessions have been brutal since we took our first lead.

For a bad shooter, he looked calm at the line there

Wow. When's the last time we beat UF in Jax and swept them in basketball?

Proud of this team and the way they fought to win that one. Looked like we were going to get the same result that’s been happening pretty much the last month but they dug in and found a way. Crazy things can happen down the stretch. The opportunities for more big wins are there for the taking and it starts at the STEG on Saturday. Always good to beat the Gators in any sport and especially in their place. Go Dawgs!

That was really fun watching crump and yante play some two man ball there near the end.

So happy for the team.

Haven't even beat them in Gainesville since 2002 so it has to have been quite awhile. Great team win. Wish we wouldn't have struggled and blown so many games this year but I'll definitely enjoy this one.

That’s the game Todd Williams made the tackle on Norris.

Also, they roughed our punter, so coach Dooley let us score again with like 3 minutes left. Good times.

man, we are 2 games going slightly differently (arkansas, kentucky, south carolina the big ones) from being in fantastic shape. that sucks.

Where have I heard a comment like this before?

"fantastic shape" is probably a bit of an overstatement as well. South Carolina currently is right behind us in RPI, so not a ton of value in flipping that one. At best, even with 2 wins there, we're probably still a bubble team needing to win 3 of the next 5 + at least one in the tournament. If you were going to pick 2 games, it probably would need to be the Kentucky game and then not shitting the bed in the second half of the first Auburn game. That probably would give you a more comfortable position going into the last 5 games + the SEC tourney.

In any scenario, it really is a moot point, because there's nothing about this roster that gives you a lot of confidence for the 18/19 season with Fox at the helm and Yante gone. We typically struggle to score when teams take Yante away... I hesitate to even imagine what we look like if they don't need to do that.

It's going to be rough looking for a new coach this season if the NCAA sanctions come down the way they look like they might.

Will it though? How long until the majority of cases move forward? Seems like at this point the writing is over the walls, so nothing stopping McG from back channeling discussions before the tournament if he has identified candidates or a specific one.

I agree...there is a lot of uncertainty. That is a legit variable beyond debateable topics like development, recruiting, etc.
