Seems weird to include the sports part if it's not part of your point, no?

It seems you’re confusing the words “pretentious” and “pride.” Or something.

quote:

characterized by assumption of dignity or importance, especially when exaggerated or undeserved

All I was saying was that those associated with Alabama at least have an adequate explanation for their undeserved inflated sense of self worth. I can’t think of a single reason why anyone associated with Mississippi State would feel like they are better than another - especially one who graduated from the University of Alabama and still chooses to pull for State.

It comes down to these people looking down on and making fun of someone for the way they look and speak, which, again, is as sorry as it gets.

I think maybe you're confusing pride and pretension since you're the one who used the word.

I haven't read this entire thread, but I think it started with Brandon Walker's tweet. His tweet wasn't claiming he or other state fans are better than Stingray. Rightly or wrongly, his tweet was saying he doesn't want Stingray representing State because the way he did it brought unnecessary embarrassment to the state.

Personally, I thought the Tosh segment was funny and could've been a lot worse—and it's worth noting that BW's tweet was before the segment, so he probably thought it would be worse too.

So you're a liar, and a piece of crap? Got it.

No changing horses midstream to save face. Nice try though.
