I dont think so. Auburn attracts a considerable draw from Georgia because of proximity to Atlanta. Bama gives out a TON of academic scholarship money. (waaay more than Auburn). Both attact significant out of state students and tuition as a result.

If your admission requirements let people with a 12 ACT in as long as they took a one week summer course, your academic profile would go down. I don't care how many out of state students you draw.
State and Ole Miss get so much riff raft because of this judge's ruling.
