I'm gonna guess the undefeated one.

Well, in fairness, Florida still has an excellent secondary and another road team was the #3 team in the country.

ETA
Auburn has an excellent defense, but I don't think their secondary is in the same category as Florida or Notre Dame.

If I was going to play devil's advocate I'd probably point out that about 1/2 of those attempts came in the guys first start in South Bend. While that in and of itself doesn't excuse his stats vs Vandy, UTk and UF, it is difficult to find a rhythm when you're only being asked to throw its 2 or 3 times a quarter.

You might want to go to Eason's stats because that's who will eventually be playing by 2nd/3rd quarter.

Well, these are Eason's stats from the win last year...

20/31 64.5% 208 yds 6.7 y/att 120.88 Passer Rating

I honestly think this is going to turn into a game in which both teams are trying to hang on and not screw up.

Wouldn't shock me to see a final score of 20-17 or 17-13 or something like that.

I would agree.

Clearly you're ignorant to Auburn's scoring habits vs UGA, recently.

Very interesting. We have the defense to give them fits

No doubt. Maybe the best defense we've played so far? (Not sure about how good Notre Dame has held up, but I would think pretty well)

Haven't noticed nearly as many bubbles last few games.

Fromm is going to have to make some big throws.

He is capable. he is very steady, and seem to make the clutch throws.

FWIW

AU pass D national rank 20
UF 36
ND 90

And we have faced two of the better passers in the league in patterson and Lock

This is true. Chaney has also done a fantastic job designing plays to give Fromm makable throws on third down this season (flat route by Swift on the first drive against Florida and the pick play to Sony against USC).

Fromm has been extremely consistent with slants, hitches, and back shoulder throws down the field. It will be interesting to see what he does in 3rd and long situations against Auburn.

Right, because performance in previous years is a better predictive indicator of performance this year than actual performance this year.

Wow! I am surprised ND is 90th. maybe they build a lead and the other team just starts throwing?

Haven't really seen Patterson, but Lock really looked good against us.
I didn't realize Auburn's secondary was that good, either. I had been thinking Auburn's strength was against the run.

Well, the Rant keeps saying we are going to lose an easy game because we always do, so I thought previous years had a lot to do with this years performance.

Was great when he played, top QB in the SEC

Both of them were pretty much shut down until our second string came in, then we gave up a bunch of yards.

If you guys run a hurry up, it will disrupt us for sure

If by hurry up you mean "No Huddle"...we do that a decent amount. We don't rush up to the LOS and run plays quickly though. I think it is mainly to keep the opponents from substituting more than anything.

Do they though? Florida has been living on this reputation for defense, and specifically pass defense, for a long time now. But are they really good at it anymore?

Just running successive plays continuously. Gus will not take a time out for some reason and our D looks lost
