The exposure Alabama gets in the Atl., Dallas, Orlando, etc. recruiting areas is extremely important and helpful, and also, they all carry the national television spotlight on prime time....and did I mention the huge paydays that Alabama gets for participating?....I guess that must have sailed right over your head, huh?

Awe bullshite. We're not gonna pick up some recruit in Atlanta just because we played there instead of Columbus. You don't think that game will get a huge national spotlight?

This was a valid argument in 2008 and 2009 when we were just starting to string together these recruiting classes and before we were making a gazillion dollars a year. Not any more. It's fricking bullshite. Teams making as much money as us do it.

You obviously don't have a clue as to the recruiting benefits, and need to talk to some folks who do it for a living so you can get an accurate idea of its significance.

Actually, we do. It means a lot to the kids from Georgia to be able to have a bunch of friends and family to be able to come see them play less than 2 hours from home.

Before 2008 our recruiting in Georgia was abysmal. There's a reason Saban lobbied for those games in Atlanta and it sure as shite wasn't due to making sure fans had a good trip.
