The next item on Texas governor Greg Abbott's to-do list sounds simple enough.
"My next goal as governor is to reunite the Texas-Texas A&M football rivalry," Abbott said on Wednesday night, before he added a "Hook 'em Horns."
Of course, getting the football teams on the same playing field is easier said than done. The two sides have not played since Texas A&M left the Big 12 for the SEC in 2012.

Agree, time to play again.
Why not?
Why not?

This will interfere with aTm games with the likes of Sam Houston State.

Fans in this conference want TSIO to go away and you think we should care about games like A&M/UTx or Mizzou/Kansas? They can play who they want OOC, but it's not news for an SEC board.

More T Sips begging to get the game back since they one of the worst P5 home schedules in the nation yearly.

if I were an A&M fan, right after my rousing match of arse-to-mouth tag with my life partner Jacob, I’d tell Abbott and TU to go outside and play hide and go frick yourselves.

Lol please. Everyone knows A&M is too scared.

If A&M had kept playing Texas we'd have gone 6-0 since joining the SEC and nobody would be talking about firing Sumlin.

The Aggies want no part of Texas.

What would Aggies get out of it?

Im all for it if Texas takes our place in the gay Thanksgiving “tradition”

I don't want the game to resume until after the following happens (in order):
1. A&M wins an SEC West title
2. A&M wins an SEC title
3. A&M wins a playoff national championship
The reason is that there are still too many big donors and decision makers that have the mindset that an 0-8 conference season is ok if A&M beats the t-sips.
Those same people judge success/failure based on comparison to t.u. Had t.u. had 3 straight 10-win seasons, Sumlin would have been fired a long time ago.
Not only that, but if you think "Bama paying the refs" is bad, you've never experienced games with Jon Bible, Cooper Castleberry and Randy Chrystal as officials.
They make the duo of Tom Ritter and Penn Wagers look completely unbiased and competent by comparison.
In fact, Jon Bible is STILL fricking A&M over every chance he gets from the replay booth.

Honest question:
Why do Texas fans (including a 93% vote of their student body) keep begging aggy to “please please please play us again?” If we refuse, does that make us a bad Dad? Sometimes Dad is just tired of junior’s shite and needs a break for awhile.

No interest at this point. Bill Byrne extended the olive branch 5 years ago but Deloss said no thanks.
Unless the game is played every year in College Station and Jon Bible and Randy Christal are unaffiliated then I have no interest.
