Certainly depends on a lot of what happens in the other P5 conferences. But considering this could easily be a 1-2 matchup they'll both still have a great case.

It'd be pretty crazy for two teams playing for the SEC champ game could be playing again in the same building for it all again a month later.

As long as Georgia plays it close. Georgia wins than both are locked.

Only if UGA wins the SEC CG.

Some teams don't even have to win the division and still get mulligans.

They'd need help.

An 11-1 Notre Dame is getting in. 1-loss Penn State or Ohio State is getting in. 1-loss Clemson is getting in. Undefeated TCU is getting in.

It's unlikely.

No. The committee will make every effort to avoid selecting 2 teams from the same conference. It would pretty much take 2 losses by 2 of conference champions and ND for it happen.

You'd need to see a couple different scenarios happen for it to be possible, beginning with someone upsetting TCU soon.

But my guess is if Georgia beats Alabama, its two, if Alabama beats Georgia, it depends. But if the Big 12 kills itself, every borderline acc team knocks themselves out, and someone gets Notre Dame it'll be two. May not even have to take that much.

No, i don't think so unless the rest of the top teams just have a blood bath in november.

No; the best scenario for both to make it is GA winning in a very close game.

It depends a lot on how the rest of the college football landscape plays out.

No. Don't win your conference and you can't be the best team in the country, therefore you shouldn't make the playoff.

No way will the committee select two SEC teams. They may try to put two big ten teams in, providing they have the credentials but not two SEC teams.

If we stay undefeated and lose a close one to Bama in the SECCG, it would take a miracle for us since every one seems to be lotioning up their hands for ND to make it in.
