re: Should State be ranked?

State needs to beat some teams it's not supposed to beat to get respect. Not being quite the pushover people think is not enough. Ta&m would be a good start. I have a hard time understanding the performance in the Auburn game. Maybe if Rankin stays out they will improve. Rankin is a disruptive element. Last year in the Auburn game he all but lay down on the turf and went to sleep. I don't understand why the pros would be interested in someone who has shown he will desert his team. Someone like that can be bought and a pro team doesn't need that.
