There seems to be a lot more of teams quitting this year. I remember not long ago even the cellar dwellers would put up a fight for 4 quarters. This year teams seem to shut it down after a first quarter fight. What's the deal?

It’s the “everyone gets a trophy” mentality. No toughness because they aren’t taught how to be tough, to never quit. Nowadays they don’t practice hard due to NCAA restrictions win or lose so why not just quit when things get tough?

If you're referring to OM in this, the only game our team gave up in was Bama.

The LSU game was a fight until 12 minutes left in the 4th.

LSU could have quit after Troy.

Those dudes manned up and have made our season worth a shite now.

Props to them

Speaking of quitting

Y'all hear that TCU/Kansas had a running clock the entire second half?

Kansas had 21 offensive yards at the end of the game. Fewest by an FBS team in 20 seasons.

Butch sucks dick but the vols play to the final whistle. I have yet to see them quit. I saw Vandy and Mississippi quit against Bama though.

Everyone knew that LSU was going to win after Guice had a few good runs. The game was basically over at halftime.

I think that may be a bit overstated. Ole Miss and Arkansas have quit. Missouri and Tennessee have quit.

That's 4 teams. The other 10 teams are playing hard.

The players read tSECR. They know we know when it's over.
