Is that really your argument?
I can see how a person of primitive intelligence can come away with that conclusion, but no. The argument is that Alabama and Tennessee weren't on a level playing field due to NCAA sanctions. It wasn't until 2002 or so that both teams were on the same level once again.
It's no coincidence that Alabama is 12-3 in the series over that span of time.

1) Gene Stallings win 70 in 7 years. Manning was 2-1 against him, not some pathetic squads.
2)Bama's best years have been made easier by facing woeful TN teams. Argument goes both ways.
