Gee is that why the dawgs recruited and signed Crowell? The infamous drug dealer/gun dealer?

In all fairness, UGA recruited and signed Crowell long before his status as a drug dealer and firearms enthusiast were common knowledge. He was dismissed from the team after CMR and the university found out about his extracurriculars.

UGA may have turned a corner with the ridiculous suspensions/dismissals. Honestly, it has yet to be seen but I think CKS will take a Bama approach to the situation, if the guy is talented, they may get second chances. Saban gave a kid from UGA after he was dismissed from the team for domestic violence and it payed off because the kid was talented.

I'm just playing with you guys. Actually, Crowell's (who was down to Bama and UGA in recruitment and was considered # 1 RB in the country) worse offense was not learning jack about blocking schemes and nearly getting Aaron Murray killed by Boise State in the CF Kickoff game when UGA had the cherry red helmuts. Richt really made a bad move letting him start first game (promised in recruiting?)

Crowell was arrested for the handgun...but another dude in the car had dope on him.

As for our 10 players suspended, the girls school would have looked the other way if possible and I know the Tallahassee PD would have. Of the 10 players, only about three to four would make a difference for our team really. We had true frosh suspended and you wonder what upper classman showed them what to do? It was wrong and you cant use school credit cards as a means to line your pocket. Losing Scarlett & Calloway hurt...but they aren't above the law.
