I think our recruiting base fits that of a Texas based spread.

Would love to get better on the lines and run an RPO system as well though.

I'm not convinced that system would win consistently in the sec as 6-8 teams can get the athletes needed to diminish the effectiveness.

The big12/acc yes, but mainly because they are not able to consistently beat out the sec teams for this talent, obviously they can beat the sec teams in a one game scenario such as season kickoff games and bowl games, but I'm not sure Sumlin is the reason aggy hasn't been able to pull it off thus far.*

Obviously if the trend of degradation of coaching continues in the SEC this could change fairly quickly as we saw with MIzzou a few years ago.

*this is assuming that 7-9 win seasons with the occasional 10+ when everything aligns in our favor isn't good enough, based off previous history with previous coaches here.
