looking at the rest of the schedule, I only really see 1-2 wins left. That puts us either at 5-6 or 6-5.
Does that lose Mcelwain's job or is he given another year due to both the suspensions and youth? Does the incoming class buy him another year?
To me, youth should not be an excuse in year 3. If UF goes 6-5 or worse, then he should be fired. This team has a lot of talent and a great Qb coming in. A legit coach like Chip Kelly could have this team dominating by year 2.

Unless we go win-less from here on, he will be coaching next year.
If next year is as lackluster as these past 3...he may be in some trouble.

A&M is not a good team.
UGA is going to curb stomp UF.
Mizzou is horrible.
USC is a bad team.
UAB is UAB. They shut down the program a few years ago.
FSU sucks.
Not saying that UF is great but the schedule is not difficult outside of UGA.

I doubt he will, but will never say never. The schedule is honestly not that tough outside of UGA and possibly A&M. Refusing to make coaching changes could become a whole separate issue as well.

A&M looked decent, but let's not go into ''sky is falling'' mode. LSU just played their superbowl -- Orgeron threw everything at a very young, inexperienced Florida team and needed a missed PAT to win. I think we can beat A&M, though, they're not world beaters.
UGA, they should win, they should have won the last three years in a row. There are a lot of times they should win and they don't, there a lot of times we should win and we don't. If we shut down the run (Conventional RBs for LSU only got 2.9 yards a carry, 85 yards on 31 carries) Fromm probably won't win the game for them if he needs to throw -- he's a lot like Franks (numberswise even), he just has two five star senior running backs.
Mizzou is a win. Don't even need to explain why.
South Carolina is a win. They have been shut down completely against good defenses even with their best offensive player on the field and lost by 10 at home to Kentucky.
UAB is a win. Goddamn, boys, it's UAB. They lost to North Texas and Ball State.
FSU is probably a win, they've looked so bad. We're going to have a chance to put them into the ''non-bowling'' category.
8 - 3 isn't what we're looking for, but I'll take it. 9 - 2 would be better, obviously, but UGA is gonna be too difficult without some serious luck/rivalry miracle work.

Nope, ain't gonna happen regardless of how the season goes.

I don't think we finish 5-6 but if we do Mac is Fired. Strickland has no reason to keep him when he wasn't his guy any way. We couldn't even fill the stands vs LSU so I would hate to see the attendance late in the season if we lose the next 2 games.
